I will honest I just bought this cause i thought it would be cool to buy a brand new ps3 game in 2023 from a store.

The game is a great remaster visually but the loading times are horrendous. If you missed out on this game previously don't miss out on it now.

I've played through Doom 1 & 2 when I was much younger on a PC and have never played Doom 3 before. It is definitely dated with blurry posters, magazines, etc on the walls and desktops but it has the tense atmosphere that the series is known for. Enemies spring up behind you and above you when you least expect them to. The guns are fun to wield and try them out to see which ones take out the baddies the easiest. Still haven't found the BFG yet but I'm sure I'll run across it soon. Health, armor, and ammo are plentiful and you can save your game at any moment so I you get stuck you can retry that part again until you get through it the way you want. The game uses light and dark to create the perfect background atmosphere. The flashlight comes in handy as does listening to all thr creepy sound effects. Overall the game is impressive for what it is.

I played this on computer when it first got release and thought it was amazing. I just recently, before purchasing, unpacked the old pc game and played it and could not believe how bad the graphics were compared to my memory, newer games have spoiled me on high definition. The ps3 version updates the graphics and although you can clearly notice that it is a 12 year old game it improves the images and graphics rate. The fact that it comes with all of the old games and expansion is an added bonus.

I have just gotten it it, there is a lot to do and mess with. And that you can fall off the ledge at parts keeps me on my toes.

Graphics quality isn't as good as modern RPG games these days but I still enjoy this game. A true classic indeed! Accompanying musical score however, isn't the same as the original version. So I'm taking a star off.

This is a very fun doom game plus it has the originals which are a bit lacking in graphics but let's u into the origins if doom if you've never played them

In the BFG edition you get slightly better graphics and it's a little brighter. Being able to have the flash light and a weapon at the same time is the best. You couldn't do that in the original. This version also includes Doom and Doom 2 as a bonus. So three games for the price of one. Awesome!

Doom started it all for FPS. Lots of guns, huge, dark, well designed maps. Chooses can be made; team army or team docotor..worth the money for few hours of edge of seat fun.

I played the original for the first Xbox and I loved it! But this remastered version is even better!! It includes all the Doom games from pc and their dlc's!!! This is definitely the ultimate Doom collector's edition!!!

This game is everything you want from Doom. Good iteration, fast paced, and a return to first-person shooters for the nostalgic. For younger players, this is an excellent look at how shooters started.

This is an awesome collection for me since I did not have access to computer games when I was a kid, my copy alsocame with a cool poster of the 1st games cover I believe.

if you remember Doom, then you'll love this. I played the original couple times, but found it difficult back then. But this PS3 version is quite easy to pick up.

Bought this for Doom 1 and 2 alone. Great buy! Offers tons of gameplay, plus you can coop the doom 1/2 campaigns in splitscreen. Buy it!

Great game, lots of replayability, includes classic versions 1 & 2 Complete, plus New version with all DLC. Awesome game, a must own.
